3 months old!

I can't believe I let so much time go past before updating everyone! Lilly is now 3 months old and doing fantastic :) She's getting some chub on her and is so cute! She is starting to teeth which is not fun!

Happy 5 weeks Lilly!

I can't believe Lilly is now 5 weeks old! 5 weeks ago at this time (10:36pm) we were settling in with her enjoying our little 2 hour old baby. Amazing!

Sleeping at night hasn't been easy--Lilly has been in her crib for a week now and it's getting better but still very hard. She's growing like crazy and a lot of her newborn size clothes don't fit her anymore!!

Lilly has ARRIVED!

HELLO I am the biggest slacker!
Lilly came 11/9 weighing in 7lbs 13 oz and we delivered her all natural in a tub of water... yea a little painful but I'd do it again next time. Healing has been way easier then I've seen some people go through but still hard.
What a horrible photographer I am.. still no pictures I have taken of her... now I see WHY people hire ME to do pictures of their little ones :)

39 week midwife checkup

Not too much progress to report--instead of being a fingertip dilated like I was last week I'm a full centimeter and still 50% or so effaced. The midwife said she has dropped a little more and she could feel her head and was nice and low. They are sticking with November 4th due date so 5 more days... she thinks it could be soon but of course there's no way to 100% know. My pains are getting stronger and I have way more pressure so we're almost there!

I just want her out!!!

38 weeks and counting

38 weeks! I have 12 days till my due date... and also election day so make sure to get out there and vote. I already voted... (yes on 2, NO on 8)... horray! anyway..

Today we had a midwife appt. and she said I am still 1 cm and am 50% effaced and to get out and walk and not to stress about anything as it will slow labor... so i'm trying to clear my mind of any stresses :)

Here's to waiting it out! She said she doesn't expect her to come within the next week... :( But she said I could prove her wrong so we'll see. Did I hear a challenge? LOL
